Material jetting additive manufacturing

Have you ever considered a printer that can create a 3-dimensional object? That means you would be able to design toys, tools, or parts of machines, directly on your computer. This is done with what we call Material Jetting Additive Manufacturing. Additive manufacturing is a really neat approach to make some complex geometries that would be difficult to generate using other approaches. This awesome printing technology is produced and sold by a company called Pulesheng Technology.

The BINDER JETTING (BJ) process utilizes a specialized printer that functions similarly to a standard inkjet printer: laying down material in one layer at a time from a digital design to create objects instead of images on paper. You begin with a digital model on your computer, first. The printer then deposits materials over a flat top through tiny nozzles. These substances are usually liquids that harden when exposed to special light. This means you can build super detailed, strong objects from scratch.

Unlocking the potential of material jetting for rapid prototyping and production

The only thing that makes it great is the accuracy of the Material Jetting process. That means it can generate things that are perfectly coherent. Its high accuracy makes it awesome for quickly creating models or prototypes. Pulesheng Technology's printers are very effective for developing little components with high accuracy. This has made them invaluable in critical industries such as healthcare, jewelry, and electronics. Doctors, for example, can use the printers to make models of bones or organs to help them plan surgeries. So you can produce a part quickly and get it in your hands so that designers and engineers build something rather than sit there and waste time and materials.

But there are challenges with Material Jetting. It's not the ideal choice for creating large parts, such as machines or large toys. And it is unable to produce parts that have to be very strong — something that matters in some industries. Moreover, printing out different materials can be challenging. This can be an issue for certain companies trying to minimize costs, as the materials can sometimes be more expensive than with other types of printing.
